Or if desired, The Physics Classroom has prepared two activities for a more directed experience. The activity was designed with the intent of being used by classroom teachers with their classes. The net force and velocity of the sled are displayed.
Learners can modify the propulsion force, the resistance forces (friction and air resistance), and the mass of the rocket sled.
